📌 Chatnet Script Download

The step one is getting the php script and buying a domain and a hosting. We will need a domain a hosting first, you can register a domain from Namecheap and for hosting you can use namecheap hosting.

We need to buy the php script from codecanyon.

ChatNet is a best PHP Group Chat Room and Private Chat Script for your website, you can make mobile app or web application.

We have to go to our cPanel. In here we have to scroll down and look for file manager. We have to click and open the cPanel file manager. You can also search for the file manager.

📌 Chatnet Script Upload

By default after purchasing the domain and hosting the file manager public_html is the website content root directory. If you have another domain or sub domain connected then you can see another folder has been created here. I will use another domain so for that we have to click on the folder. For you clock the public_html.

We have to select the folder and upload the php script we purchased. In the upper side you can see a Upload button, click there. Now Select File and it will start automatic upload. After upload you can see a green status bar.

Come back to public_html you can see out script is uploaded. Click the script then mouse right click. You can see a Extract options, click and extract the (ZIP is an archive file format that compresses files and folders into a single zipped file) zip file.

📌 Create Database For Chatnet Script

Again come to the cPanel and look for the Database Wizard and click here. We have to create a database so the website can fully work.

Give a database name, database username and a strong password and click next, create user.

We will give the all permission to the database so give ALL PRIVILEGES and click next or make changes.

📌 Change PHP Version Fron cPanel

We have to make the php version 8.1-8.4 so the script can proper work. To do that we have to again go to the cPanel and scroll down. In the software section you can see a option called Select PHP Version we have to click on that.

My current PHP version is 7.4 and in this version the script will not work. We have to make sure select 8.1 to 8.4 PHP version and then click apply to make the changes.

The install page is started, go to https://yourdomain.com/install and click start installing.

We have to enable Exif PHP Extension to install this script. The Extention is missing here.

📌 Enable Exif PHP Extension From cpanel

In the software section you can see a option called Select PHP Version we have to click on that.

In here go to the Extention tab and search for Exif PHP Extension and enable this extension, it will auto save so do not worry. If it not fixed do not worry about it.

📌 Start Chatnet Script Installation

The install page is started, go to https://yourdomain.com/install and click start installing or click the Next button.

Give the Database details here. We have to give the Database Name, Database User, Database Host. Password, Database Port and click the next button.

Adminitrator Account

Please fill in your administrator account details. You can change these after you log in to the system later.

Install ChatNet

Click the Install button to begin the installation process. Do not close the tab or browser. This installation process may take few minutes to complete.

ChatNet will be installed onIf you want to change the site URL, Access the installer from the URL you want ChatNet to be installed.

You have to give the Envato Purchase Code and click the install button.
